Last weekend, I had the privilege of spending a relaxing & fun weekend at Halie's house in Duluth.
They have the coolest basement ever!
It was remodeled to look and feel like Italy.
So naturally, I LOVE IT!
And they have a sweet home theater room.
We slept in, watched movies and episodes of Felicity (we're obsessed right now!)
But we also took time to be slightly productive in a fun way.
here's the process:
Originally we were just planning on doing the classic melting crayon craft
the paint splattered everywhere! |
so hard core! |
we got to this point and weren't quite satisfied. it didn't feel finished |
so we continued melting so it dripped down the entire canvas |
added sticker letters |
painted over it with white paint |
and then took the stickers off |
i had to go back and melt them a little more because there was too much white space |
the finished project!!! |
It was so fun doing a project like this.
We are so happy with how they turned out
and it made us feel productive on our otherwise lazy day!
This weekend, I'm shooting my roommate, Deanna's engagement pictures, weather permitting.
Hopefully I'll be able to share those soon!
I'm also going bowling with ESP No Kids Allowed tonight which should be a lot of fun!
HAPPY FRIDAY & HOPE YOU HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND!!!
