I don't normally do many DIY projects.
Partially because I don't have much time.
Partially because I'm lazy.
And partially because half way through working on one I would get frustrated and give up.
However, for work I was asked to make 13 book page table runners for an event.
It was quite the adventure.
And I got extremely frustrated half way through but I wasn't allowed to quit this time.
But now its finally over, the event turned out great and here are the pictures of the process:

first we had to trim all the edges
this was the original idea, to have all the pages lined up

this edge cutter was the worst thing! we ended up buying different ones but they weren't much better

this was the new idea

it definitely took an army to accomplish this task

the finished project. we used different colored pages and old black and white pictures of the campus

the new edge cutter cut of border off the page so they were very fragile

we then had to roll them up with craft paper to transport them safely

the end of each runner was the only place the border was attached

Brandy and I had to do some repair as we wrapped them up

this is how they left our office.
and this is how they looked on the tables!

Great work Jordan! At first I thought these were for Deanna's wedding haha
