As already mentioned several times, Lauren Legreid and Zach Youmans are getting married this weekend!!!
I could not be more excited!
Its going to be such a great celebration.
Today, I'm driving out to Atlanta to pick up my former roommate Lisa.
She flew in last night from London for the week.
Anyways, today's wedding wednesday is featuring Jack & Jill Showers.
I have been to several Jack & Jill showers in all the weddings I have been a part of.
The most recent one was for Lauren & Zach.
It was a more formal shower.
We had appetizers, dinner and dessert.
Didn't play any shower games.
Just mingled and then watched the couple open gifts.
It was a special time that the two families (from different places) were able to come together to celebrate.

Last spring, we held a Jack & Jill shower for Kelsey & Andrew
The color scheme was yellow and blue.
We had appetizers and mini desserts (red velvet cupcakes & fruit tarts).
We played a 'Who knows the couple better', boys vs. girls vs. bride vs. groom.
It was a lot of fun!
And of course we took lots of pictures and watched the couple open gifts.
