As mentioned many times before, I had the great pleasure of being in Zach & Lauren's wedding this past weekend.
It was an amazing weekend, full of love, laughter, tears, eating and dancing!
It started out on Friday afternoon when we all met up at the venue, the John Oliver Michael House in Statham, Ga, for the rehearsal.
Afterwards, we headed to the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Athens for the rehearsal dinner.
There were many emotional people included in this wedding, myself included, so the sharing was long and tearful but in a good, encouraging way.
I love hearing old stories of the bride and groom during the sharing at the rehearsal dinner.
Over and over again, family members from all over reiterated that they thought Lauren and Zach were perfect for each other.
Afterwards the bridal party went to the rooftop bar at the Georgia Theatre.
I hadn't been up there before so it was a cool experience.
(some of the following pictures were included in my post yesterday but were not explained as to where they are or what they're from)

The whole bridal party stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown.
It was so nice to stay downtown and be able to walk to almost everything we did.
It felt like a little vacation, one that I could actually enjoy things about my own town without having the stress of every day life.
On Saturday, we woke up and got free breakfast at the hotel (normally you have to pay $9 for the buffet!)
Then all the girls went to get our nails done!
At one, we had a bridesmaids luncheon at Last Resort downtown.
Lauren shared about all of us and gave us a gift, in addition to the shoes she bought for us to wear in the wedding.
the wine we drank, it was a carbonated red, and it was soooooo good :) |

she also treated us to froyo at Yoforia after lunch |
Saturday night, we had a girls party in a private Karaoke room at Shokitinis.
Lisa and I had made some special cupcakes for the occasion.
It was a fun night for all the girls close to Lauren to get together and have some fun on her last night of being a single woman!
And that brings me to sunday.
THE WEDDING DAY!
It was a surprisingly relaxed day.
We had a communion time in the morning after arriving to the venue.
Then we had plenty of time to get ready and were just able to take our time and enjoy the day.
I am so impressed by the wedding and all the personal touches that Lauren put together.
It was the most perfect day for an incredibly beautiful wedding!
